Hi Jeff,

I am reaching out to ask if Representative Tonko will cosponsor the Disability Integration Act again. The DIA was reintroduced last week as HR. 555 (and in the Senate it was introduced by Minority Leader Schumer as S. 117). The bill is both bicameral and bipartisan, and already has 52 cosponsors in the House. Last session Rep. Tonko cosponsored the bill, then known as HR 2472. The bill is substantially the same with minor technical edits which were suggested by AARP.

Will Representative Tonko cosponsor DIA?

1/16/19: Visited the office with Anita Cameron asking for Jeff Morgan and he was not available. Dropped off the DIA paper.

On August 30th, 2018, C4CI sent an email to Jeff Morgan (jeff.morgan@mail.house.gov) asking whether Representative Tonko would be an initial co-sponsor of DIA if elected to the next Congress.

On April 13, 2016 ADAPT members - as part of the Spring Action Hill Day - provided the office with information about the Disability Integration Act which has already been introduced in the US Senate and asked that the Member of Congress become initial cosponsor this legislation in the House.
