12/04/2018: Emailed Wendell Primus and requested a meeting with him to discuss Representative Pelosi signing on to the DIA as a co-sponsor. I have not had a response back.

Sent Wendell Primus an email asking when we could expect Pelosi to become a cosponsor of the DIA. I also reminded him that Pelosi wore a DIA pin at the NCIL rally in July.

Talked with Member of Congress, Nancy Pelosi, after her press conference at Independence First in Milwaukee, WI. It was rushed. We are not sure how much information she was able to absorb. She mentioned that she was not familiar with the Disability Integration Act. She also mentioned that as the minority leader she is not able to co-sponsor bills. So we asked her to send a ???Dear Colleague??? letter to urge other democrats to sign on. Later we did some research and from what we can see there is nothing that states the minority leader cannot co-sponsor bills. We have sent a follow up email to Wendell.Primus@mail.house.gov (Senior Policy Advisor) and Kelsey.Smith@mail.house.gov (Director of Scheduling and Advance) asking her to co-sponsor and send the ???Dear Colleague??? letter. Kelsey was with Pelosi at Independence First in Milwaukee, WI.
