On 5/3/2019 sent third email to Chase Clanaghan requesting that Rep. Shimkus cosponsor DIA H.R. 555.

On 4/2 Dara Baldwin met with Chase Clanahan -LD for the office. He was not aware of DIA. I explained the bill to him and also gave him some information on how it would be done in IL. I sent him a thank you email with all of the information we discussed and asked him to ask his boss to Cosponsor H.R. 555 - as we need E&C members on the bill. I will follow up with him in a week to see about this.

On Sept 7, 2018, ADAPT member Cal Montgomery met with Brian Looser, went through packet, talked about how this would affect Illinoisans. Seemed unfamiliar, promised to "dig into it."

On August 30th, 2018, C4CI sent an email to Brian Looser (brian.looser@mail.house.gov) asking why is not a cosponsor of DIA and whether the representative would commit to being an initial co-sponsor of DIA if elected to the next Congress.

On April 13, 2016 ADAPT members - as part of the Spring Action Hill Day - provided the office with information about the Disability Integration Act which has already been introduced in the US Senate and asked that the Member of Congress become initial cosponsor this legislation in the House.
