Thank you for meeting with members of ADAPT and taking my call yesterday regarding the Disability integration Act, HR 555. This email is just to confirm that we chatted yesterday. When you???ve reviewed the information provided by ADAPT, would you let me know whether Congressman Cuellar will be sponsoring the bill? ADAPT will be in town next week and we???d like to stop by your office to thank the Congressman for supporting disability rights.

We spoke with Alexis, Congressman Cullar's Health Policy Staffer. We explained what the bill would do and Alexis grasped the concept right away. Said it takes typically a co sponsor takes a week. She was going to do research when she got back to her desk. Sent an email to schedule a follow up meeting and to answer questions.

On August 30th, 2018, C4CI sent an email to Zack Limicka (zack.limicka@mail.house.gov) asking why is not a cosponsor of DIA and whether the representative would commit to being an initial co-sponsor of DIA if elected to the next Congress.

On 8/9/18, Ellen Taverna dropped off DIA packet and Texas Democratic Party Resolution supporting DIA. Zack Linick (not Limicka) is out of the office this week. Front desk staff suggested I reach out to Juan Sanchez, LD, at juan.sanchez@mail.house.gov who also covers health issues. Need follow up.

ADAPT met with an intern at this office on May 16th. They were told Zack Limicka was the staffer to speak with. Follow up with this person.

On September 27th, ADAPT members - as part of the Fall Action Hill Day - provided the office with information about the Disability Integration Act and asked that the Member of Congress cosponsor this legislation.

On April 13, 2016 ADAPT members - as part of the Spring Action Hill Day - provided the office with information about the Disability Integration Act which has already been introduced in the US Senate and asked that the Member of Congress become initial cosponsor this legislation in the House.
