On Tuesday May 21st during the Spring Action, ADAPTers occupied the office of Congressman Costa. We spoke with some of the staff there, including Ian. Before the day was over, close to 4pm, we had a face to face conversation with the Congressman who assured us he would "do his homework" and look at our bill and our documentation. The next day, Wed. May 22nd, another group went to the office to follow up and were antagonized. Their tone changed, saying if our group didn't leave they wouldn't even consider co-sponsoring the bill.
