on 2/12 Sophie sent the following email:

Hello Darrell,

I wanted to follow up again as this was the email your office provided me with. I dropped by the office about a month ago, however you were unavailable at the time and I haven???t heard from you since. I wanted to ask if Representative Evans will cosponsor the Disability Integration Act again. The DIA was reintroduced as HR. 555 (and in the Senate it was introduced by Minority Leader Schumer as S. 117). The bill already has 83 cosponsors in the House. The bill is substantially the same as the last iteration which Congressman Evans cosponsored but with minor technical edits which were suggested by AARP. We would really like to see Representative Evans support our community again by becoming a cosponsor of the Disability Integration Act.

To cosponsor the bill, please contact Amy Bos at Congressman Sensenbrenner???s office.

Will Representative Evans cosponsor DIA?

Thanks,

Sophie Poost

On January 24, Sophie Poost sent the following email to Darrell Doss:

Hello Darrell,

I dropped by the office about two weeks ago, however you were unavailable at the time. I wanted to reach out to ask if Representative Evans will cosponsor the Disability Integration Act again. The DIA was reintroduced last week as HR. 555 (and in the Senate it was introduced by Minority Leader Schumer as S. 117). The bill is both bicameral and bipartisan, and already has 52 cosponsors in the House. Last session Rep. Evans cosponsored the bill, then known as HR 2472. The bill is substantially the same with minor technical edits which were suggested by AARP.
