Email sent on January 28--
I???m a member of the national disability rights group, ADAPT. A few weeks ago some of our members stopped by your office in hopes of obtaining Representative King???s support on the Disability Integration Act (DIA), which is currently HR. 555 in the house. The bill is bi-partisan and bi-cameral, and we would love to see the representative???s name added to the growing list of cosponsors. I just wanted to take a moment to check in and see if you have had the opportunity to consider the legislation yet for the 116th Congress and offer to answer any questions you may currently have about it. Additionally, you can peruse the additional information attached to this email to refresh yourself on the bill. Please reach out with Congressman King???s decision.
