Met with Elliott Guffin Legislative Director in his office. I discussed how this is a constitutional right as well as a civil right. He was not aware of the Olmstead Case so we had a discussion on this. I also discussed how this will help those who want to age in place and how this assists veterans. He was impressed that we got AARP to support DIA. I sent him a thank you email with all of the information that I discussed in our meeting and the links on our website for his use to discuss with his Chief of Staff. I will follow up with him next week as they are on recess this week back in session Monday the 25th.
