Dear Cindy,
I am writing on behalf of the Disability Community to thank Representative McGovern for their sponsorship of the Disability Integration Act in the last Congress. We will be holding an event in the U.S. Capitol on January 15th to celebrate the bill???s reintroduction. We would like to announce the Representative as an original cosponsor of the bill at the event. Would you please confirm the Representative???s intention to be an original cosponsor on the legislation? We would be grateful for their leadership in helping ensure that all disabled Americans have the right to live in freedom. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Sophie Poost

Hello Cindy,

I contacted your office prior to the holidays, but I believe you were out and since it is a busy time, I just wanted to reach out again in case my email got lost in the shuffle. I am writing as a member of the Disability Community and National ADAPT to first of all thank Representative McGovern for his prior sponsorship of the Disability Integration Act, and ask about the Representative???s intentions for sponsorship during the 116th Congress. On January 15th, we will be holding an event in the US Capitol to celebrate the bill???s reintroduction. We would like to announce the Representative as an original cosponsor of the bill at the event. Would you please confirm the Representative???s intention to be an original cosponsor on the legislation? We would be grateful for his leadership in helping ensure that all disabled Americans have the right to live in freedom. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Sophie Poost ??? ADAPT Organizer
