On July 24th, 2018, NCIL Advocate David Nelson met with Rep. Banks and staffer Mark Rusthoven. They didn't seem to know much about the DIA, but got very interested when they found out it was sponsored by a Republican in the house and had the support of the Heritage Foundation. He promised to have staff check it out and would consider becoming a cosponsor. Following up locally.
