On August 30th, 2018, C4CI sent an email to Amy Brown ( amy_brown@donnelly.senate.gov) asking why Senator Donnelly is not a cosponsor of DIA and whether the Senator would commit to being an initial co-sponsor of DIA if elected to the next Congress.

On July 24th, 2018, NCIL Advocates Erik Zagorac and David Nelson met with staffer Joe McNally. He was somewhat aware of the DIA and indicated that the Senator was favorable toward it. The staff will present the idea of him being a cosponsor.
