On 5/15/19, Sophie Poost called the office. The front desk staffer, Jon, said Sofya Leonova was not available but he could connect Sophie to Sofya's voicemail. Sophie left a voicemail urging Sofya to review her emails and get back to Sophie. Sophie also sent the following email with a link to the twitter post from National ADAPT showing a picture of the representative with ADAPT members.

Email is as follows:

Good Morning Sofya,

I am emailing to follow up on a voicemail I just left on your phone on behalf of ADAPT regarding the Disability Integration Act or DIA. In the last few weeks, you have received multiple emails from ADAPT about the DIA (bill number HR.555), but we have not heard back from you and Congressman Lipinski has not signed onto the Disability Integration Act yet. Additionally, about a month ago a few members of our group ran into the Representative in the hallway and discussed the bill with him. He said he would have his staff look over the bill and then they took a group picture which you can find here as well as attached to this email.

It is essential that you review the emails from ADAPT and consider the legislation as Rep. Lipinski agreed to do. ADAPT will be in town next week and we would prefer to stop by your office to thank Congressman Lipinski for his support. Please call me back at 585-46-7510 or respond to my email to confirm you have received this message and our emails requesting Congressman Lipinski cosponsor the Disability Integration Act.

Thank you for your time,

Sophie Poost
ADAPT

Cal Montgomery writes on 9/05/2018 at 3:57PM:
On September 5, 2018, ADAPT member Cal Montgomery spoke briefly with Sofya Leonova. She is familiar with MFP and brought it up. Her big concerns are cost and the Chicago Trib story a while back on abuse in CILA homes, but she seems interested. Will follow up with information to address her concerns.
